Creating a trip

A trip is one shared tab for a whole holiday. Instead of splitting each dinner, hotel and taxi as it happens, everything lands in the same place and gets worked out once at the end.

Click the + button on the bottom bar of the homepage. Choose trip expenses: start a trip or add to one. Name the trip and add the friends joining.

Everyone adds receipts to it as you go, instead of splitting every meal separately and trying to remember who covered what.

Use a trip whenever more than one person is going to pay for something. A single receipt is the right tool for one dinner; a trip is the right tool for a weekend where four different people put their card down at different moments.

Next: get everyone onto the trip, then everyone adds their receipts as you go. At any point you can check the running differences owed.

There is no limit on how many people or receipts a trip can hold, and it’s 100% free just like everything on Tabster.
